Short Biography

 

Louis Scott is a Managing Director in the Investment Bank at UBS.  He is currently Co-Head of Quantitative Analytics, which is responsible for the derivative pricing models in the Investment Bank.  He joined UBS in February 2010, after spending 13 years in risk management and quantitative research at Morgan Stanley.  He began his career as a finance professor at the University of Illinois and then moved to the University of Georgia.  His academic research on derivative pricing has been published in Mathematical Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial & Quantitative Analysis, and other journals.   Louis has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Virginia, an M.B.A. in Finance from Tulane University, and a B.S. in Engineering from Duke University.
