Biography

Rong-I Wu is currently the Chairman of Taiwan Brain Trust, Board Member of Taiwan Thinktank, and Senior Adviser of Taiwan Institute of Economic Research. In the past, Dr. Wu was the Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan, Chairman of Taiwan Stock Exchange, and Chairman of Taiwan Futures Exchange, President of Taiwan Institute of Economic Research, Chairman and Professor of the Department of Economics of National Taipei University. Dr. Wu received B.A. and M.A. in Economics from National Taiwan University, and Ph.D. from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium.
